The study seeking to understand how using sea water as opposed to fresh water would affect the mining industry is one of the 44 presentations included in the Hydroprocess 2013 technical program.

With over 100 registered participants to date, the first seminar of the year organised by Gecamin will feature 47 presentations by authors from 11 countries.

The organising committees and advisors of both seminars met to plan the programme and development of these events, which are to be held together from 24- 26 July in Santiago, Chile.

Last year 260 participants attended courses put on by the leading company in mining conference organization. Of the participants, 50% came from the most important companies in the sector.
