Authors

Submit your abstract in English or Spanish, from 300 to 600 word, in Word format, by April 24, 2026, using the official submission platform. Click the Submit Abstract Here button located on the left side of the page.
 
Your abstract should describe the objective of the work and summarize the results obtained. It must also include the authors’ full contact details.
 
The Abstract Template button provides a Word document with predefined styles to help you prepare your submission correctly. This template also includes the editorial guidelines that must be followed for your work to be approved.
 
If your abstract is approved, you will be requested to send a final version that incorporates the reviewers’ comments.

Notes

Due to technical program restrictions, each author may present a maximum of two works in oral format (additional works may be presented as posters), and each company may present a maximum of three oral presentations (additional poster presentations are also allowed).

Review
Process

All submissions received by
Water Congress 2026 are subject to all stages of the review process in order to be approved for publication in the proceedings and included in the technical program.

Stage 1: Abstract Selection

All submissions received for Water Congress 2026 will go through the following review stages. Only submissions that complete this process will be approved for publication in the digital proceedings and included in the technical program.

Stage 2: Final Abstract Approval

Final abstracts will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee to ensure that all modifications have been made. At this stage, articles will be confirmed for oral or poster presentation. Final abstracts approved for publication will be published in the Water Congress 2026 proceedings. At this stage authors must register to Water Congress 2026 to confirm their participation.

Stage 3: Presentation Selection

All authors of final articles approved for oral presentation will be asked to send the PowerPoint presentation that they will exhibit in their 20-minute talk.

Stage 4: Author Registration

Only abstracts from registered authors will be published and included in the technical program of the congress.

At least one (1) author per work must register and pay the registration fee before August 27, 2026. Works whose authors have not registered by the deadline will be removed from the program, and their article will not be included in the congress proceedings.
