This seminar is held every two years. The first version of this event was held in November 2010 in Santiago, Chile. The technical programme included 36 presentations by authors representing nine countries. Delegates from 24 mining companies were among the 129 participants who attended. The next Enermin will be held in 2012 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil and will be organised by Gecamin and IBRAM (The Brazilian Mining Association).

International Conference on Acid Rock Drainage & IMWA Annual Conference
ICARD is the world-renowned event on acid rock drainage held every three years whereas the IMWA is the first international technical scientific association dedicated to themes surrounding mine water management. Since its founding in 1979 the IMWA has organized an annual meeting and a congress every three years. The 10th version of the ICARD and the IMWA annual meeting took place in April 2015 in Santiago, Chile and was organized with the South American Network for Acid Prevention (SANAP). The technical program included 186 presentations by authors from 18 countries. 400 delegates attended the conference, of which 35 were professionals from mining companies.
