Oral Presentation
Authors whose works have been selected for oral presentation during the Conference must prepare their presentation using the official PowerPoint template and upload it through the official submission platform.
To do this, click the Submit Presentation Here button located on the left side of the page.
Total presentation time:20 minutes (including questions).
Poster presentation time: during coffee breaks on all three days of the Conference.
Biographical summary
The presenting author must complete and submit a biographical summary using the provided form (a full CV is not required).
This information will be used to introduce the author to the Conference audience before the presentation.
The form is available via the button located at the top of the page.
Poster Presentation
Authors presenting their work in poster format must submit their poster 20 days before the Conference in a PDF file summarizing their work, in accordance with the Poster Preparation Guide and Poster Demo previously provided.
Notes
Due to technical program restrictions, each author may present a maximum of two works in oral format (additional works may be presented as posters).
Due to technical program restrictions, each company (excluding mining companies) may present a maximum of three oral presentations (additional poster presentations are also allowed).

Review
Process
All submissions received by
Safe Mining 2026 are subject to all stages of the review process in order to be approved for publication in the proceedings and included in the technical program.
Stage 1: Abstracts Selection
All submissions received for Safe Mining 2026 will go through the following review stages. Only submissions that complete this process will be approved for publication in the digital proceedings and included in the technical program.
Stage 2: Final Abstracts Approval
Final abstracts will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee to ensure that all modifications have been made. At this stage, articles will be confirmed for oral or poster presentation. Final abstracts approved for publication will be published in the Safe Mining 2026 proceedings. At this stage authors must register to Safe Mining 2026 to confirm their participation.
Stage 3: Presentation Selection
All authors of final abstracts approved for oral presentation will be asked to send the PowerPoint presentation that they will exhibit in their 20-minute talk.
Stage 4: Author Registration
Only abstracts from registered authors will be published and included in the technical program of the congress.
At least one (1) author per work must register and pay the registration fee before July 15, 2026. Works whose authors have not registered by the deadline will be removed from the program, and their abstract will not be included in the conference proceedings.
