Authors Participation Minexcellence 2021

 

Preparing the Presentation

Authors of the works selected for oral presentations must prepare their presentations using the official conference template, all PowerPoint presentations must be prepared in English or Spanish, however, the audio of the presentation can be given in English or Spanish, as simultaneous interpretation will be provided in all technical sessions.  To send the presentation please use the file transfer platform. Pre-recorded Presentations (On Demand Format)

During the Conference, all technical presentations will be available in a pre-recorded format so that participants can view them at their own pace (on demand), all technical talks will be available in the conference platform on November 26th and will remain available to participants for up to 3 months after the conference ends. Click on the “Recording Guide” button on the top of the page. 

 

Total oral presentation time: 20 minutes.
Total poster presentation time: 10 minutes.

 

To publish the video of the pre-recorded presentation, authors must send a signed copy of the Copyright Agreement and Consent to Publish a Video Presentation form, which authorizes us to publish the abstract in the Digital Proceedings and also to include the recording of the presentation in the Minexcellence 2021 online Conference platform.

 

 

Live Roundtables:

To answer questions and facilitate interaction between Authors and participants, Authors’ live Roundtables will be held live for each technical session. Each Q&A Roundtables will last 60 minutes.

 

Biographical summary:

The author who presents the work must complete an submit the “CB Bio” that is available at the top of the page.  Please do not send a full CV, the summary is sufficient. This information will be included in the platform together with pre-recorded presentation..

 

Note: Due Technical Program restrictions, an author is allow to present a maximum of 2 works in oral presentation (additional works can be submitted  for Poster presentation). A company is allow to present a maximum of 3 works in oral presentation (additional works can be submitted  for Poster presentation). Review Process

All submissions received by Minexcellence 2021 are subject to all stages of the review process in order to be approved for publication in the proceedings and included in the technical program.

 

Stage 1: Abstract Selection

All abstracts will be reviewed and commented on by Minexcellence 2021’s Technical Committee. Approval of an abstract at this stage does not automatically guarantee that the final version will be accepted and included in the program. The authors of accepted abstracts will receive comments to consider and include in the final version of their abstract.

Stage 2: Final Abstract Selection

Final abstracts will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee to ensure that all modifications have been made. At this stage, abstracts will be confirmed for oral or poster presentation. Final abstracts approved for publication will be published in the Minexcellence 2021 proceedings. At this stage authors must register to Minexcellence 2021 to confirm their participation.

Stage 3: Presentation Selection

Authors of selected final abstracts for oral presentations will be requested to send a PowerPoint presentation. Presentations will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee to ensure compliance with Minexcellence 2021 standards. Presenters will receive comments to consider and include in the final version of their presentations.

Stage 4: PowerPoint Presentations

Final PowerPoint presentations will be received and reviewed to ensure that reviewer comments have been considered. The presentation will be confirmed as part of the Minexcellence 2021 program.

Stage 5: Pre-recorded Presentations (On Demand Format)

During the Conference, all technical presentations will be available in a pre-recorded format so that participants can view them at their own pace (on demand), all technical talks will be available in the conference platform on November 26 and will remain available to participants for up to 3 months after the conference ends. 

 

Author Registration Deadline: September 27, 2021

The published proceedings will only contain abstracts from authors attending the conference.
 

To confirm publication of an abstract, as well as inclusion in the technical program of the conference, it is essential that at least one (1) author per article is registered and paid by September 27, 2021. Abstracts of authors who have not registered by the deadline will be automatically withdrawn from the proceedings and the program.
