The Procemin 2015 program includes two technical visits to mining sites

Delegates will be able to visit Minera Doña Inés de Collahuasi and the Andina Division of Codelco.

The 11th version of the International Mineral Processing Conference, Procemin 2015 -which will take place from October 21-23 at the Sheraton Hotel in Santiago, Chile- is offering two technical visits to mining sites as part of its technical program.

One of the visits is to Compañía Minera Doña Inés de Collahuasi, located at 4,400 meters above sea level in the Altiplano of Tarapacá Region, in the north of Chile. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the Mina Rosario Viewpoint and the Concentrator Plant (flotation area).

The other visit will be to the Andina Division of Codelco, Chile, located between 3,700 and 4,200 meters above sea level in the V region, fifty miles northeast of Santiago. The operations combine both open-pit and underground mining. At this opportunity, delegates will be able visit the Mina Rajo, the Concentrator Plant and the CIO Room (Integrated Operation Center).

Both visits will take place before de conference, on October 20th. Please note that delegates interested in participating must pass an altitude exam.
