Preparing the Presentation

Authors of the works selected for oral presentations must prepare their presentations using the official congress template, all PowerPoint presentations must be prepared in English, however, the audio of the presentation can be given in English or Spanish, as simultaneous interpretation will be provided in all technical sessions.  To send the presentation please use the file transfer platform. Click on the “Submit PPT HERE”button on the top of the page.

Pre-recorded Presentations (On Demand Format)

During the Congress, all technical presentations will be available in a pre-recorded format so that participants can view them at their own pace (on demand), all technical talks will be available in the congress platform on November 30 and will remain available to participants for up to 3 months after the congress ends. Authors are requested to send their pre-recorded presentation by October 23. A recording instructions guide will be send to all authors by e-mail.

Total oral presentation time: 20 minutes.

To publish the video of the pre-recorded presentation, authors must send a signed copy of the Copyright Agreement and Consent to Publish a Video Presentation form, which authorizes us to publish the article in the Proceedings and also to include the recording of the presentation in the Automining 2020 online congress platform.

Authors Panel

To answer questions and facilitate interaction between Authors and participants, Authors’ live Panels will be held live for each technical session. Each Q&A Panel will last 30 minutes.

Biographical Summary

The author who presents the work must complete an submit the “Biography Form” that is available at the top of the page.  Please do not send a full CV, the summary is sufficient. This information will be used to introduce the author to the congress audience and will be included in the platform together with pre-recorded presentation.

***Note:Due to Technical Program restrictions, a registered author is allow to present a maximun of 2 works in oral presentation and a company is allow to present a maximum of 3 works in oral presentation. For more information please contact us at automining@gecamin.com

Author Registration

Deadline for Author Registration is due October 2, 2020
 

The published proceedings will only contain articles from authors attending the congress.
 

To confirm publication of an article, as well as inclusion in the technical program of the congress, it is essential that at least one (1) author per article is registered and has paid by October 2, 2020. Articles of authors who have not registered by the deadline will be automatically withdrawn from the proceedings and the program.
