Authors of approved abstracts must submit their final version using the file transfer site available for this purpose. At the same time, we request you send a signed copy of the official publication authorization agreement..
Abstracts should describe the objective of the work and a synthesis of the obtained results, as well as include full contact details of the authors. The “Abstract Template” button above contains the Word template with predetermined formatting to prepare your abstract. Also, the format includes editorial guidelines to be followed for the abstract to be approved.
Note: Due to Technical Program restrictions, an author is allowed to present a maximum of 2 works in oral presentation (additional works can be submitted for Poster presentation). A company is allowed to present a maximum of 3 works in oral presentation (additional works can be submitted for Poster presentation). Review Process
All submissions received by Sustainable Mining 2025 are subject to all stages of the review process in order to be approved for publication in the proceedings and included in the technical program.
Stage 1: Abstract Selection
All abstracts will be reviewed and commented on by Sustainable Mining 2025’s Editorial Committee. Approval of an abstract at this stage does not automatically guarantee that the final version will be accepted and included in the program. The authors of accepted abstracts will receive comments to consider and include in the final version of their abstract.
Stage 2: Final Abstract Selection
Final abstracts will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee to ensure that all modifications have been made. At this stage, abstracts will be confirmed for oral or poster presentation. Final abstracts approved for publication will be published in the Sustainable Mining 2025 proceedings. At this stage authors must register to Sustainable Mining 2025 to confirm their participation.
Stage 3: Presentation Selection
All authors of final abstracts approved for oral presentationwill be asked to send the PowerPoint presentation that they will exhibit in their 20-minute talk.
Author Registration
Author Registration Deadline: March 13, 2025
The published proceedings will only contain abstracts from authors attending the congress.
To confirm publication of an abstract, as well as inclusion in the technical program of the congress, it is essential that at least one (1) author per article is registered and has paid by March 13, 2025. Abstracts of authors who have not registered by the deadline will be automatically withdrawn from the proceedings and the program.
