The Geomin 2013 Organizing Committee was proud to welcome over 250 attendees from 11 countries at the 3rd International Seminar on
Geology for the Mining Industry, held in Santiago of Chile, where 28 lectures on research, recent innovations and technological developments in the modelling and geostatistics, geology for mining and production, geotechnics and geomechanics, applied mineralogy and geometallurgy were presented and discussed.
The meeting brought together close to 300 geology and mine planning professionals to discuss projects being developed in Chile and Australia, amongst other subjects.
