The Geomet 2014 Organizing Committee was proud to welcome attendees from 10 countries at the 2nd Intenational Seminar on Geometallurgy held in Santiago of Chile, where over 47 lectures on research, application, innovations and technological developments were presented and discussed.

With a high turnout and even more technical papers than expected, the 2nd International Seminar on Geometallurgy, Geomet 2014, whose slogan was “Reducing risk and adding value to the mining business”. The event, which took place in the Sheraton Hotel in Santiago from December 1 - 3, gathered 167 delegates from 10 countries who participated in the 47 presentations.
