The three days of the 9th International Mining Plant Maintenance Meeting, Mapla 2012, and the 7th International Mine Equipment Maintenance Meeting, Mantemin 2012, held in Santiago, Chile were marked by the massive presence of more than 400 maintenance experts and professionals.

The 60 presentations and 6 plenary sessions presented by authors from 16 countries highlighted the experiences of major mining companies.
